Old habits die hard
This weekend was my first weekend out and about other then a trip to Walmart. I went to the mall, and walked. I got tired easy but I did it. I came home and slept 2 hours and then Im a singer so I went to Karaoke for 2 hours. I didnt dance or anything but after 2 hours I was really tired. I drank cranberry juice and water. I did a couple things wrong
At the mall I went to chic fil a and ordered chicken soup and a drink. I CANT DRINK AND EAT! lol What an idiot
Then last night at the bar I ordered a cranberry juice. I drank for about an hour..THROUGH A STRAW before I realized I wasnt allowed to do that too.
Things are just habits and I forget. This new way of life takes alot of thought. I gotta get out of the habits I was in and get used to this new way of life.
I hate not being able to drink and eat at the same time... that's the toughest one for me to get used to...
I took my son to Quizno's tonight and got a broccoli and cheese soup. He ate most of it. I felt sooooo sad for my Starbuck's though... it was right across the way and that was my ONE big passion... I sure missed it from afar....
I'm going back to work Thursday and I'm soooo worried that I'll be really tired. I haven't done much since my surgery, other than go back to the gym (this past Monday) for about 30 mins every day and make a shopping trip or two. Wish me luck!
I know what you mean! My family went to the movies today and hubby had his large drink sitting between us and a couple of times I found myself just about to grab it. I should have had a water with me, but I'm too cheap to pay $2.50 for a small bottle. I did reach into his cup and grab a piece of ice.
