I know how you feel Willby. As of yesterday, my one month anniversary, I was down 21lbs. When I had my first RNY I lost 32 in the first month. This time I am doing much better with my eating and exercise. Ya just never know. What I try to remember is if not for having this surgery, I would still be gaining. Hugs, Dawn

Willby~ I had surgery the same day as you. I do have regrets. I rushed into the surgery. (started thinking about it in August 05, went to seminar August 25, was approved August 31st and had surgery 10/24). If I could go back and do it over, I would not have had the surgery, but since I cannot do that, I am going to work the tool as best as I can. I am disappointed in myself. Surgery should not have even been on my radar. Hopefully, my feelings will change. Jenn 264.8/243.2/1??

hey jennifer WOW!! You really did move along fast. It took me 10 months from start to finish..........but I have to tell you........I was still in the pre-op waiting room having second thoughts. I called my entire family in there and told them I didnt want to have the WLS. They all reminded me that YES! i did want the WLS. I was mad at them at first for "coercing" me. But ......maybe this thing will work out and I will lose some of this unhealthy whale blubber (did I just say that out loud?) take care willby

Hi all, I had my surgery 10-25 and I have lost about 19 pounds. I think that I feel it a little. I am still in the same clothes so it does get discouraging. We seem to wish that it will all come off the frist month. When I read others stories I see that it can take 8 months to 1 year just to loose 100 pounds. We tend to forget that 1 year is a long time. It won't come off overnight. It took alot longer to put all this weight on. I never have one regret. I know this will work. Every night that I go to bed I just tell myself, one more day down. The only thing that I miss is pizza. I have not been able to stop thinking about pizza. Michelle M
