Hey Missy, I take the pain meds I got for after surgery at night time to help me sleep it relaxes me to be able to get comfortable. I told my DR's nurse and she said thats what alot of people do. Marcey

Did you try Tylenol PM? Or Celestial Seasons Sleepytime Tea? That helps me, but I haven't had trouble sleeping. When I do I read... that puts me out! Good luck! Vi

I DON'T KNOW IF THEY'D DO THIS FOR YOU OR NOT, BUT I WAS GIVEN HYDROCODONE/APAP (LORTAB LIQUID) WHEN I LEFT THE HOSPITAL. I TAKE 3/4 - 1 TEASPOON BEFORE BEDTIME & SLEEP LIKE A BABY. THE ADDED BENEFIT IS THAT I WAKE UP WITH LITTLE TO NOOOOOOOO PAIN ... NOT EVEN IN MY ARTHRITIC JOINTS. THE ISSUE WOULD BE THAT IT IS A NARCOTIC. GOD BLESS YOU DAWN & NICK

Not sleeping is the pits. My surgeon suggested benadryl. I was reading labels in the pharmacy and Theraflu has a product that you dissolve on your tongue that all it has in it is benadryl (generic diphenhidramine ?sp). I also love the sleepytime tea. I just want to sleep more than 4 hours a night. good luck (and good night) Ann
