Yep! I know what you're going through! I get tired quickly which is not fun at all!! I'm just trying to take my vitamins, stay hydrated and move around as much as possible in hopes that my energy will return in its entirety. I also had my B12 shot last week, so hopefully once my body gets used to everything it will be back to normal. I hope you feel better.

Marcey... I am two days after you and feel so tired all the time...I yawn alot but I try to not take naps as I want to sleep well at nite. I am glad to say I slept better last nite than any other nite since surgery...just awakened by a terrible thunderstorm...I usually love them but this one actually scared the crude out of me..... I am taking my B12 sublingually...under my tongue.... Jenn

I DON'T HAVE LITTLE CHILDREN OR AN OUTSIDE JOB TO CONTEND WITH, SO I'M NOT AS PHYSICALLY & EMOTIONALLY TAXED AS MOST OF YOU ... I FEEL GOOD BUT WHEN I DO ANYTHING, I USE UP MY ENERGY REAL FAST & AFTER A LITTLE SIT-DOWN ON THE COUCH, I'M FINE FOR THE NEXT TASK. BUT, LIKE LAST NIGHT ... EVERY 3-5 DAYS, I JUST FEEL LIKE SOMEONE DRAINED THE ENERGY RIGHT OUT OF ME, MS JENN. MY HUBBY GOES TO WORK REALLY EARLY SO HE HAS TO GO TO BED EARLIER THAN I DO (&&&&, I'M A NIGHT OWL) ... I USUALLY LAY DOWN WITH HIM UNTIL HE FALLS OFF TO SLEEP THEN GET BACK UP & CONTINUE MY "DAY". WELL, LAST NIGHT, I LAID DOWN WITH HIM AT 8:00pm, WOKE UP ONCE TO USE THE RESTROOM & STUMBLED BACK INTO BED ... THEN, I WOKE UP AT 4:00am TO MAKE NICK'S LUNCH ... STILL FULLY DRESSED FROM YESTERDAY, LIGHTS ON IN THE HOUSE, BOTH PCs STILL ON ... I HAD BEEN SOOOOOO TIRED LAST NIGHT THAT I DON'T EVEN REALLY REMEMBER FALLING ASLEEP, BUT I SLEPT GREAT ... HONESTLY THOUGH, I COULD GO RIGHT BACK TO BED & TAKE A "NAP". I HEAR EVERYONE SAYING THAT THEY ARE REALLY TIRED ... SO, MAYBE THIS IS "NORMAL" FOR RIGHT NOW??????????? GOD BLESS YOU DAWN & NICK

I to have TIRED days everyday. I felt great the 1st few weeks after surgery, then the friday before my 2 weeks post op day, I crashed with NO energy and have not had any since. I was told this could last up to 3 months on and off as our bodys get used to the changed, and also that as we lose weight at a rapid speed our body produces an enzyme that causes the tiredness. I started taking the B12 shot last Thursday (the 3rd) and was told by my PCPs nurse today it could take a few months for the B12 to build up. I just take a nap sometimes 2 in the day. Hi Marcey!! I went to my support group on Monday and all the post-ops and asked the same question....they said "We're not going to lie to you, but it takes 3 weeks for that feeling to go away" well I guess we'll be sleepy and without energy for a while then...
