I like to compare myself to others weight and their progress and their tips and tricks and yet it seems noone posts their weight. Is there a reason? Is it rude to ask? Unfortunately you cant tell by someones face in the pics. Is it just me, or had anyone else wondered too? Blessings, Deb Sw 368 CW 338 LAP RNY Oct 20

Hi Deb! I know exactly what you mean. I don't personally think it's rude to ask what other's weight is...that's why we are here, right? Plus, if someone doesn't want to tell their weight, they don't have to. I find the same thing with height. There is a big difference between someone who is 5'10" and 300 lbs. and someone who is 5'4" and 300 lbs. I guess that's just my opinion. Maybe we will start a trend Hugs!!! Kristine H: 5'8" Sw: 271 Cw: 252 (according to my home scale)

Hi! a lot of folks here do post their weight at the bottom of their notes, but apparently there's no way to do it automatically, so here's how to read it: 285/220/140 is starting/current/goal This is mine, by the way. Then, you can look at the top of each post and IF the person has filled in their OH profile, you can see which surgery was done, when, and where. Look at the top of my post for example.

Hi Cyndi...do you write the 285/220/140 everytime you post or does it do it automatically?

You have to do this every time, as there is no way that your profile does it automatically. This is the standard "weight" signature for almost all the weight loss sites. Some do it automatically, but not here. Maybe we should contact OH and ask if this can be added to our profile capabilities?? Anything else you want to include like BMI, etc can be added, but you'll have to explain it. The 3-part signature is pretty standard, so most folks will understand it.... Have a good day!

Hi Deb...I started a post in your honor...I hope people answer..because age, weight and height has a lot to do with how fast we lose.

I regularly post my weight on my web site (http://sitekreator.com/ShrinkingViolet/index.html), but I'm the type of person who can get a little too obsessive if I start comparing my weight loss to someone else's, so I tend to avoid that (putting it on my posts, I mean). Vi

I feel comfortable talking about my weight with you guys because you can understand where I'm coming from. Even though we're all different sizes, shapes, and weights we can relate to one another. I'm too lazy to put down my weight on every post, but I will update every time I have a weight loss moment.
