Has anyone noticed their breath becoming bad after surgery? I can brush my teeth and husband says my breath is still bad. Marcey

It is because you are burning fat so fast that you are in ketosis. I hope my breath will stay bad for a long time! Hugs, Dawn

Mine is absolutely awful too. It is soooo bad my husband will walk into the room and say "PU, what stinks?" and he isn't even near me. I have found that the listerine breath strip thingys help to at least make it taste better for me. They don't last real long but they help some.

Hi Marcey....My doctor recommended the Listerine strips too...and they help a little...I brush my tongue a LOT, that seems to help too..it's really annoying.

Yup, same problem here. It was worse when I first came out of the hospital, seems to have diminished somewhat. I also have stronger than usual B.O. I brush my teeth a few times a day and have been using Tic Tacs to mask the problem (I can't handle those Listerine strips, too strong for me). I think when we're consuming more calories and a more varied diet, it should go away. It better, or I'm never going to get any serious smoochin' from my husband again! Sheryl
