I am only 3 weeks out, but is the reason we are not supposed to have them now only because they could get stuck or is there another reason as far as could it damage the pouch if eatin sooner than we are supposed to? I found that cashews were better for me to digest than peanuts. Just make sure you chew carefully. Keke

You can have peanut butter though... I like it and it might satisfy the craving?

VI, I tried peanut butter with some low sugar jelly and the peanut butter just doesn't tast the same to me for some reason. Melissa Dr. Ejey (Duncan's Office) Lap RNY- 10/17/05 July, SW - 241.5/ Nov., CW - 211/GW - 135 - 30 lbs gone forever

I know what you mean, I was so excited to have peanut butter because it was on my list and I also found out when I tried it that it didn't taste right to me now. Fortunately I've been told that's temporary and our tastes will come back eventually! I'm a peanut lover too so I sympathize! I did go to the natural food store and grind up some almonds to make almond butter (they have a machine) so I'll have to give that a try and see how it tastes to me now! HUGS, Vi

THEY ARE VERY HARD TO DIGEST, MS MELISSA ... IT WILL STRESS YOUR POUCH ... YOU CAN EAT CREAMY PEANUT BUTTER WITHOUT THOSE DIGESTIVE PROBLEMS (IF IT'S ON YOUR DIET AT 3 WEEKS).
