I am sooo tired

I have no energy. I am getting my protien in everyday and taking all my vitamins. How is everyones energy level? I was ready to go to bed at six tonight. I had sugery on the 11th. What is eeryones activity level? I do not know what I would do if I was working.

Hi Laura, I had my surgery on the 11th of Oct as well, and it took me forever to get my energy level up, I had to get some B50 and my coworkers forced me to get up and walk. It was hard but now I walk for about 1 hour a day-2 30min walks and I feel much better. But I have to admit, that I do need that extra push. good luck! Janna

WHAT IS "B50", MS JANNA? I TAKE 2,000mcg OF SUBLINGUAL B-12 DAILY FOR ENERGY & SO FAR, I'M OK ... TIRE EASILY, BUT REGAIN MY ENERGY FAIRLY EASILY.

I had my one month follow up yesterday, and mentioned this to the doctor. He said not to be concerned. He additionally said if I go another month, and am still this tired, then that might be a reason to worry.

I've been OK, but I'm also not out of the house much so maybe that's why. Today I went out to my POST OP appt an hour away and at first I was tired, but as the day progressed I got more energy... so I'm going to start trying to go for walks. Sometimes exercise gives me more energy.

NICK & I TOOK MY 1st "EXERCISE WALK" (NOT AROUND THE HOUSE OR SHOPPING) & WE BOTH DARN-NEAR DIED ... PAIN RETURNED WITH A VENGENCE IN OUR BACKS, LOWER BACKS, HIPS & JOINTS. SO, MY NEXT TRY IS OUR RECLINE BIKE ... MAYBE NON-WEIGHT BEARING WILL BE BETTER.

I'm tired, weak no strength whatosever... I've been on broth and water for 2 weeks now...so I guess it's that..or a little depression over the mourning of food.

I was wea****il I started eating my protein instead of drinking it. I have a bad back, so walking sucks for me, unless I use a cane or do it while shopping and have a cart to help hold me up. I used a treadmill the other day and it worked much better for me cause I could hold myself up with the bars when I need to. There's no way I could EVER walk for an hour a day. I'm not even doing the 20/day 5x/week they told me too. I did just start a water aerobics class though. 1 hour 4x/week, plus I swim laps and then I do the dreaded 20 minutes on the treadmill. I never made it faster than 2.5 mph and my heartrate was 180. 4x/week will have to be good enough. Asking me to do any more would be like asking me to sprout wings and fly. Not possible and 'aint gonna happen. Sheryl

I get tired easily. I am exercising some and I walk around at the stores when I go shopping, but after I finish I'm drained. Sometimes after a shower and getting on my clothes I'm tired as well. I had a B12 shot Thursday and I hope and pray it kicks in to pep me up! I hope you feel better and get your energy back. Keke

I am SOOO tired as well, I started B12 shots last Thursday, but it hasn't kicked in yet. I was told that I could be this way 2-3 months as when we lose at such a rapid speed that our bodies produce an enzyme that causes the tiredness.
