Two week post-op visit..
Vi,
I've been reading all about the Wendy's Chili and haven't tried it yet. I'll have to do it soon. Tonight we went to dinner at a friends and they ordered pizza, so I had a lunchables. More fat than I would've liked, but 20 gms of protein. I didn't eat all the crackers, but ate all the meat and cheese and had no problems. So I guess as long as I chew really well I don't have to shred my food anymore. That'll come in handy.
Green stuff sounds, but congrats on the weight loss!
And as far as the lecture for not exercising yet goes, don't worry about it. At least you don't have to keep an exercise log like I do that will get analyzed by the PT at week 6. Soooo not looking forward to that.
All these logs are driving me batty. A food log, a water log, an exercise log, a recreation log (I had to promise to go out and do an extra curricular 5x/week...exercising doesn't count), a medicine log. I spend half my day filling out paperwork. I started just keeping it all in one book and they can page through it to get what they need.

EGADS, all that logging would drive me nuts, but I understand why they do it.
I've been keeping track of my stuff on www.fitday.com -- love that website, you should try it, then you could just print out what they want!
It's beautiful here today so I promised the kids we'd go for a "short" walk (whatever Mom can stand). But I am definitely going to my gym on Monday. I switched clubs prior to surgery and I'm dying to try the new one -- it was built brand new so the novelty of having "new equipment" is so appealing to me! I just needed to have a little more energy and now that I'm eating somewhat "normal" food (aka not liquid), I feel like I have that energy.
I'm with you, so long as I chew everything (or cut it) to death, I don't need to puree anything. That chili is going to become a staple for me when I go back to work!
:waves:

P.S. GOD I hope I wasn't the one who outbid you on the swarovski beads! I use "violetrose65" on ebay, so you probably would have recognized me! I got 1 lot of 200 4mm beads for $10 and 2 lots of 50 6mm beads for a total of $18 with combined shipping. I also bought some daisy spacers, some really cute rose bud spacers and other spacer beads in solids and in swirls, plus crimping beads. Those I got in lots of 100 and 300. I am going to be a BEADING fool as soon as they come! I can't wait! I promise I'll email you pictures as soon as I make something worthy!
Keep watching the auctions, I put tons of stuff on "watch" and when I get outbid I move on to the next one and I keep doing that until I win something at the price I'm willing to pay. I can get kind of obsessive that way though!
