What did you eat or will eat today???
B - A taste of scrambled egg (wasn't in the mood, gave it to the kids)
1 tbsp of refried beans with cheese
1 tbsp of cottage cheese
L - 3 oz tuna and 2 low salt table crackers
S - 1/2 small potato mashed with beef stew broth
D - 3 oz tuna and 3 crackers and a tiny bite of mushed banana (yum)
Water: About 25 oz so far
Vitamins: Faithfully YES
Exercise: Still too lazy, maybe next week
B - 1/2 banana, 3 melba rounds with low fat peanut butter
L - 1/3 cup chili
S - 1 slice avocado pear, 1/4 salmon salad, 2 tater tots, 2 slices havarti cheese with jalapeno peppers
Snack - 1 very small slice watermelon, 1 slice peeled apple
Water - 4 glasses
Vitamins - Yup
Calcium - Wouldn't miss it for the world....YUM!!!
Iron - Don't need to take it.
Exercise - every time I get out of the chair (grin). I'm still kinda tired...or possible lazy too.

I'm trying to focus on the protein. I have to spread it out through the day; I'm not organized into meals yet.
1/2 c milk
3 T cottage cheese
1/2 c split pea soup thinned with broth
1 poached egg
1/2 c milk
8 oz protein shake
1/4 c yogurt
Not sure how well I'm doing on fluids; I have water bottles littered all over the house and just try to remember to sip as often as I remember.
The poached eggs are sitting well and really taste good to me. That's my daily treat. I have to force myself to drink the protein shake.
Exercise? Hell no, I just had major surgery last week, for heaven's sake. My belly is still very sore and aches if I stand for more than a few minutes at a time. I guess some people recover more quickly than others.
The bad breath from ketosis seems to be diminishing, or maybe I'm getting more used to it. The nasty B.O. I complained of seems to have gone by the wayside; someone suggested it was a byproduct of all the anesthesia and other hospital drugs.
Vitamins: definitely, two chewables a day. Also 2 pepcids a day, crushed into yogurt or a bit of pureed peaches (baby food). And I'M OFF MY HYPERTENSION DRUGS! I was taking 3 pills/day for HBP last June; now I need zero. I've lost 51 lbs since June; 12 of those pounds came off since RNY.

This just keeps getting better, and I'm less than 2 weeks out. Wow.
