I HATE HATE HATE my scale!
I've had the same scale (digital) for about 8 years and the thing doesn't work! This morning I weighed 263-270. It is different EVERY STINKIN' TIME I weigh myself. I told my husband that I was going to buy a new one, and he said he didn't want me to spend the money, which is code for someone is buying you one for your birthday(12/12). I don't want to wait 6 weeks for a new scale! At least I meet with the nutritionist tomorrow so I can know how much I weigh. I'm one of those people who needs to know or else I'll go crazy!
Frustrated beyond comprehension,
Sheryl
My scale broke the day I came home from the hospital!
I bought this one to replace it and I looooove it! It was $26.99 at Amazon.com with no shipping and no tax! Plus it keeps track of your goal weight and tells you how far you are from it each time you stand on the scale AND it shows you what you weighed the last time you were on it!

It looks like a great scale, but how do I make him BUY it???? And why do I have to wait until my birthday?
You know what's funny? It's not very romantic, but I'd love a scale for my birthday (just wi**** was closer), but in past years if my husband EVER gave me a scale for ANYTHING I would have KILLED him.....
"Hey honey....happy birthday....here's your present!"
"A scale??? You got me a scale??? You think I'm too fat and you don't love me!!!!!"
Funny how things change.

That's a good question, I'm not sure how you can make him buy it now. Maybe print the picture out and show it to him and tell him that one of the girls from the message board just got this scale and said it was really good and you decided you really need one NOW so you're going to order it NOW.
Maybe he'll change his mind about what to get you for your birthday or maybe he'll go ahead and order for you now?
I know what you mean about the scale... I used to hate them and now I love stepping on it.
BTW, my husband gave me a bicycle for our 1st anniversary (13 years ago). One Christmas he gave me tires for my car... you don't get much more romantic than that...

Here's romantic for ya....
For our 7th anniversary last month he gave me an electric can opener.
Oh.....did I mention that he does 95% of the cooking in our family? So basically he bought himself an can opener and gave it to me for a present. I think I'm going to give him some makeup for his birthday, cause I could really use some new foundation.
