Hi Celia So good to see you! I bought "MOIST conditioner" and "Paul Mitchell's WET Gel" for my hair like you suggested and I love them! Thanks for the tips girlfriend! I also loved that site kreator so much that I moved my journal there! It's soooo much easier to work with than trying to do all my own HTML in my profile over here! Also loved the "cooking" theme! It looked so healthy! I had my surgery on Oct. 20 and here are my answer: 1) Are you in pain? None, thank GOODNESS though I do tend to get an upset stomach now and then from certain things (like my protein shakes). 2) Do your incisions hurt? Not at all, they do itch a little. 3) What have you been eating? or should I say drinking? I was drinking Revival Soy Shakes (which are bothering my stomach now?), Isopure Zero Carb Drinks (which are GROSS ), Protica Profect Protein Vials (also GROSS ), broth strained from REAL soup (chicken and beef broth made me want to barf), I can't stand jello anymore so I won't touch it and since my choices were limited I decided to move to stage 2 a few days early (my surgeon will have to forgive me but I had to get nutrition SOMEWHERE and I know other surgeons allow their patients to go to purees within a week). I know have added a moist scrambled egg (add a little milk), finely chopped with my fork, refried beans with melted cheese (less than half a cup), cottage cheese, and smooth peanut butter. Let me tell you after all those liquids, those few items are heaven and I eat so little that even *I* am amazed. 4) DO you get dizzy? Not so far. 5) Are you weak? Definitely, if I do more than walk up and down the stairs or if I stand too long... but we should feel weak we are starving ourselves right now! 6) What are you doing during the day? Do you stay in bed, walk around, go out, drive, cook?? etc... I go from watching TV or using my laptop in bed to going down to the living room to watch DVD's to sitting on the couch to play with new crafts (beading crystal jewelry) which I picked up to keep myself from being bored to death! The only walking I do is around the house right now. As soon as I get a little stronger I will return to my gym. Hubby's doing all the cooking for the kids, so I don't have to worry about that, thank goodness. He lost his job right before my surgery unfortunately, but it's been a big help to me with the kids and the house. 7) Do you regret having had the surgery? Not at all! I've lost 18 lbs and I'm thrilled to finally see the scale moving again! 8) Was your WLS very painful? I was very lucky, other than some mild discomfort I had no pain and haven't used any pain meds since I came home. 9) Are you getting support at home? My kids are very considerate and my husband has been very helpful (he's doing everything, pretty much). My friends have also been wonderful! 10) Do you feel skinnier? My clothes are definitely feeling looser!

1) Are you in pain? Nope!! 2) Do your incisions hurt? No, but I do have a drain tube which I hate with a passion. 3) What have you been eating? or should I say drikning? I was eating before I left the hospital. I was there six days. My doctor is a little different from most. So eat protein cheese, eggs, chicken, but I cannot eat much at all! 4) DO you get dizzy? Not unless I get up too quick. 5) Are you weak? Not at all! 6) What are you doing during the day? Do you stay in bed, walk around, go out, drive, cook?? etc...I get up and walk around outside and inside the house. I read, get on the computer, and watch tv. I can't stay still too long. 7) Do you regret having had the surgery? No 8) Was your WLS very painful? No. My back did hurt after it was all over, but I believe that was due to the fricking hospital bed. 9) Are you getting support at home? Yep! 10) Do you feel skinnier? I have no idea. I'm trying not to be a scale watcher or be anxious, so I'll know how much I've lost Thursday when I go see my primary care physician.

I know I'm not the only one who is hungry, crying, regretful, sad, and missing food like I would my own Mom.
