What pain meds are you on? The morphine they gave me after surgery gave me HORRIBLE headaches, but since I switched to liquid Lortab I've been totally fine. Maybe ask your doctor if it could be your pain meds? I can't really help you with the liquids, hasn't been a problem for me. Sorry. Hope you feel better soon. Sheryl

Hi Shirley, getting in enough liquids is a challenge for me too, but it is getting progressively better each day, just keep sipping and trying. As for the headache, they sell liquid tylenol now, but that might be hard for you to take if you are having trouble with the liquids. I know the thought of having anymore liquids is totally unappealing to me right now, so the less liquid I have to take the better!! Just keep trying hon, it will get better and call your MD about the headache. Vi

Hi Shirley. Were you a coffee drinker before surgery? It sounds like a caffiene headache. If so, and your doctor (like mine) says no caffiene, the bad news is that you might have to tough it out a while. The good news is they don't last more than 24 hours or so. Once you get through it, it won't come back. Good Luck! Michelle
