So glad that everything went well for u did you get the laproscopic procedure or the open? My surgery is going to be open and it's on Halloween I'm starting to get a little nervous but I have faith in God and my surgeon... rest easy now and keep us all updated on your recovery..

I got the LAP RNY. I know your recovery might take a little longer being that it's open, but go in with your faith and your positive attitude and it will be fine. My prayers are with you. HUGS, Vi And what a cool date for a rebirth! HALLOWEEN!!! I love it!!

They sure did use the same 6 incisions! I told my surgeon in the OR that if he was making 6 new cuts I wanted a clock! They laughed and told me they would use the same 6 incisions since they now had a convenient map.

Hi Joanne!! We're gonna be surgery sisters!!! My surgery is also on the 31st of October. I know the feeling of nervousness, but just keep focusing on the outcome. It will be wonderful to be happy, healthy and energized!! I would love to hear from you!! Patilee
