Hi everyone! I'm home and feeling good! So happy to have it over with and so excited about being on the losing side. Everything went smooth and I want to thank you all for your thoughts and prayers, they really touched me. Dawn, I read your prayer that morning as I was leaving and it filled me with so much comfort and peace. Thank you so much for that! To all of my PRE - OP friends, don't be anxious or afraid, the surgery is the easy part and you will do fine! I have had no pain and have been on no pain medication at all, didn't even need to use the PCA pump. My biggest pain is the GAS! hahahaha... but that's just uncomfortable and it passes (literally) especially if you keep walking, which I have been! So when you feel that bloating and that gas, get up and walk in the hospital (take the IV with you)! It will be over before you know it and you'll be back home, settling on the couch (like me) trying to figure out what to feel "OSCAR THE POUCH" to keep him happy! Love and hugs to all of you! A very happy Vi!

Congratulations. I'm so grateful, after your prior experience, that all has gone well for you. Now, take some time to be pampered, and baby yourself, even! Again, I couldn't be more pleased.

Hey Lisa hon, your's will go just as smoothly, I just know it! And just remember that even if there are a few bumps in the road, it's a lot like having a baby -- there might be some discomfort, but once you have that end result, you will forget all about it, so just focus on that end result!! HUGS, Vi

Thank you for posting! You're words are like soothing medicine to those of us who are looking at surgery in the next few days. The worst part is not knowing what the aches and pains are gonna' be afterwards. Guess I'll be finding out soon eh???? Hugs and glad you're home doin' fine! Peggy B.

NAAAAAAHHHH, MS PEGGY ... THE WORSE PART IS IF WE HAD TO STAY OBESE & UNHEALTHY! HOW MANY ACHES & PAINS HAVE YOU ALREADY ENDURED BEING IN THIS STATE? AFTER-SURGERY ACHES & PAINS WILL GET US TO THE POT OF GOLD AT THE END OF THE RAINBOW! I HAVE A WONDERFUL QUOTE IN MY PROFILE ... "I'M NOT TELLING YOU IT IS GOING TO BE EASY - I'M TELLING YOU IT'S GOING TO BE WORTH IT." ~~ Art Williams ~~ KEEP YOUR EYES ON THE "GOLD"! GOD BLESS YOU DAWN & NICK

Hi Peggy, you just go in there optimistic and don't worry about any aches and pains!! Just remind yourself that a GOOD attitude will help you overcome anything and no matter what, the end result will be worth it. We are going to be thinner and healthier than we could have ever been! I will be praying for you! HUGS, Vi

Hey hon, I've been thinking of you and praying for you! Was watching the news on the hurricaine the whole time I was in the hospital. I'm praying it won't affect you! Let me know how it's going! HUGS, Vi
