Im home from the hosp early and doing great!
Hi everyone, Just wanted to give you all an update of how my surgery went and how i'm doing now. On Monday Oct 17th I was at the hosp at 6am for my check in. I was put in my bed about 30 minutes later not realizing that my bed was right outside the passage way to the surgery room ...lol The nurses had a really hard time drawing blood and putting in the IV because I must have been somewhat dehydrated due to the "clean out " procedure from the day before. Finally after about 9 pokes with the needles they finally got some blood and after a few more got the IV in. At about 7:30 I was in the OR and my surgery began around 8am. Everything went really well with no complications . My surgery took a total of about 3 hours and I was in my own private room by around 12 noon. My hospital stay I guess could have been better. I didn't like being waken up for my vitals every couple of hours but I know it had to be done. My husband and kids have been great support. My husband was at the hospital everyday with the kids. I have to say that I am so happy to be married to the best guy in the whole world!
Thank you to everyone for their support.
