6 days 2 go with no insurance approval

on 10/14/05 my surgeon scedualed my surgery for 10/26/05, so I thought every thing was ok with my insurance, today I got a letter in the mail telling me that they still need all my paperwork to make a decision, so I called my surgeon right away , and she told me not to worry about it she sent every thing downstairs an monday. When I got off the phone with her I called my insurance, to see if the papers just crossed paths, they said the decision is still pending awaiting my paperwork, but as soon as they get it they can make the decision within 2 days. Oh I am so stressed. No-one seems to relize that there are only 3 buisness days and a wake up till my surgery. If anyone has any incouraging words I sure could use them about now! How about a big (((((((((((((((((((((((((HUG))))))))))))))))))))))))! I can't believe your surgeon's office would schedule this surgery without knowing if the insurance will pay for it or not. I know my surgeon waited until we had approval in hand. I know you must be stressing and you certainly don't need that right now. Let us know what you find out and I'll be praying that you get an answer quickly, like tomorrow a.m.!!!!!!!!!!! Peggy B.

I WAS SCHEDULED FOR SURGERY BEFORE I GOT MY INSURANCE APPROVAL. ACTUALLY, WITH TRI CARE PRIME, THAT IS HOW THEY DO IT. SEEMS BACKWARDS BUT IT ALL WORKED OUT. YOU'RE DOWN TO THE WIRE & THE ONLY THING I CAN THINK FOR YOU CAN DO IS REQUEST A FAX VERIFICATION FROM YOUR SURGEON'S OFFICE THAT YOUR PAPERWORK WAS FORWARDED TO YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY, THEN CALL YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY WITH THE DATE & TIME STAMP + FAX # PROVING THEY HAVE THE DOCUMENTS IN THE INSURANCE OFFICE. SOMEONE DROPPED THE BALL ON YOU, MS JENNIFER ... REAL SORRY TO HEAR THAT & KNOW YOU ARE UNDER STRESS FROM THEIR ERRORS. YOU'RE NOT DENIED, SO EVEN THOUGH IT MAY BE INCONVENIENT, YOU CAN BE RESCHEDULED (AGAIN). DEEP BREATH SWEETIE & WE PRAY EVERYTHING TURNS OUT A-OK FOR YOU! GOD BLESS YOU DAWN & NICK
