Ready, set, let's goooooooo! I bought all my s/f jellos, koolaids, broths, chewable vitamins, etc. for after surgery. Also found a vanilla praline whey protien shake that was recommended to me and bought it for later on down the road. Also got me a new nightgown that is soft and stetchy t-shirt material (not too revealing) and my wet wipes. I've got my chapstick and earplugs. Of course, I'm throwing in toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo/conditioner, deoderant. There are a few magazines I'll take along with my slippers and bathrobe, oh and undies! I'll be taking my favorite pillow and my hubby with me. Anything else?????? Love y'all Peggy B.

Sounds like you have everything. I too had a new nightee but bcause of the IV I couldn't use it. My experience was fine. My doctor, Dr. Sonnastine, was wonderful. He was in my room 3-4times a day. I had no problems what so ever. I was home on the third day.

I needed a new nightee anyhow just because I decided finally that "darn it, I deserve it!" If I don't wear it there I'll have it when I get home. I can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!! By the way, congratulations on your WLS journey to a healthier lifestyle. Peggy B.

Hi Peggy, sounds like you have everything under control. You will also have to have some protein mixes after you get out of the hospital, i don't know if you included that in the "etc" part of your message. Best of luck and talk to you on the other side. you will be in my prayers and thoughts. Love ya Deanna
