I'm Home
Hi everyone. I had my surgery Monday at 8am and I was home today at 4pm. Mine was done laproscopic. I can honestly say, for me, it was fine. The pain was managable. The worst complaint for me was nausia, but BY Tuesday am that was gone. I quit using my pump for pain medicine on Tues am so I was switched to Toridol which went into my IV and that was the only thing I was on for pain. I had pepsid which helped. But I just wanted to let you know it was fine. I was up walking Monday night and I had no problem with traped gas. I hope everyone can have a smooth time AS I did.

Congrats on a successful surgery. I had mine last monday and I couldn't wait to get home on wednesday. They almost kept me another night, due to a rapid heartrate, but all of my tests were normal, so they let me go. I swear the only reason my heart was beating so fast was because it was so darn hot in that hospital. That's how I get when I'm overheated. Of course it's also possible that it was my crush on my surgeon that was causing it I am so bad lol.
My only real problem was the nausea too. Thank God they have good meds to control it. Boy does that anaesthesia make you sick.
I'm glad to hear things went so smoothly for you. You have my best wishes for an equally smooth adjustment from here on out.
