Sugery Next Week

Hello Everyone I am new to this message board. I am Erin and I am scheduled for October 25th at Hershey Medical Center in Pa with Dr. Ku. I am very nervous. First it was scared nerves, now it is just "EXCITED" nerves. I am so ready for this. I am becoming VERY IMPATIENT!!! Anyone else like this?? I was able to wait 3 months for a date and now when I only have 6 days till surgery I feel like I can't wait that long...lol. Thanks for all the help!! Erin

ACTUALLY, I HAVE JUST BEEN THE HAPPIEST BASKET-CASE YOU'D EVER WANT TO MEET. NO NERVES. NOW, I'M GETTING CALMER & PEACEFUL. WHAT A BLESSING THAT WE CAN HAVE A CHANCE FOR A HEALTHY LIFE, MS ERIN! Welcome Erin! I have surgery on October 25th, too and I am so excited I don't seem to get anything done. I think of a million things I need to do before surgery but go around in circles all day. My stomach has been feelin' kind of upset but I don't think I am nervous. I'm just ready to get this show on the road and get it done and over with. Six days seems like six months right now! Anyhow, hang in there and we'll get through this together! Peggy B.

THANK YOU PEGGY!!! I totally understand. Every weekend for the last 3 weeks I have been getting the house ready ( nesting). This weekend since it is an all liquid weekend I will have to keep myself very busy by cleaning my butt off!!! I just wish I could sleep it away and wake up ready to go Tuesday!!! My surgery is 10/24 and a little jittery like most of the rest of you. However about a week ago I was basically cancelled and then today got the call that it is to be done on schedule...so I'm thrilled to be back on schedule. I may be shaky going in but I feel so certain that this is my best hope in getting my weight down and keeping it down. Best wishes to all us who are having the surgery next week!
