Juice?

I was stuck out for 5 hours today with nothing bu****er, which was fine by me, but that meant replacing atleast 2 of my set meal times with only water so I thought I'd try some juice. I bought a little bottle of Minute Maid and read the label...it had so much sugar and carbs in it! I took one sip and it made my stomach feel crampy so I just stopped before it made me sick. I thought minute maid would be safe...I was just wondering if I should just leave juice alone altogether? Only drink low-sugar? I think it might have been from concentrate...so maybe 100% juice would be ok? I know juice can be a lot of wasted calories anyways...I was just wondering incase I ever got in a pinch again. ~Kate

I haven't had surgery yet but my sweet angel has advised me not to eat or drink anything that has more than a single diget number listed in the ingredients (otherwords 9 grams or less). I was curious to know if there was a gatorade or powerade that was sugarfree out there? Peggy B. (Can't wait until October 25th! I'll be on the losing side of life at this time next week.)

We love MINUTE MAID LIGHT LEMONADE, LIGHT GUAVA CITRUS, LIGHT MANGO TROPICAL & my absolute favvvvvvorite, is MINUTE MAID LIGHT RASPBERRY PASSION. SAFE TO DRINK SUGAR-WISE BUT HAS NO PROTEIN VALUE ... JUST A PLEASUREABLE TASTE & SWEETEN BY A TEENY BIT OF FRUCTOSE - 5 CALS, SO THE CARBS ARE MINIMAL. BUT, IF YOU WANT A MEAL-REPLACEMENT DRINK, YOU NEED TO CHECK INTO THE HIGH-PROTEIN DRINKS ... TEAS, SHAKES, FRUITY DRINKS & MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ONE WITH YOU TO SIP ON WHEN YOU GO OUT. CHECK OUT ... bariatriceating.com GOD BLESS YOU, MS KATE DAWN & NICK

try the diet cranberry raspberry snapple. it will go down very easily and my nutritionist said that it was okay to drink. it is actually made with fruit juice and doesn't have alot of the after taste of diet drinks. you don't need to be drinking juice dear...i know it is really hard. wendy's has a minute maid light that was okayed by the doc and you can also try tropicana sugar free orange ade it is non-carbonated and you can mix it with a little water if it is strong for you. i know what you mean though and i was out the other day when my food had run out and i couldn't find anything to eat. i ended up eating a piece of cheese and water. i am eating yogurt already among other things (mashed potatoes, etc.) i can not tolerate eggs yet so that will be down the ways...i have now lost 24 lbs but i still feel a little wore out at times. wishing you luck..cheryl
