First of all, Good Luck! ...I packed so much and didn't touch any of it. I wore the same clothes home (stretchy cotton pants and a big long sleeve t-shirt) that I wore to the hospital since they got me into a gown about 10 minutes after I got there. The only thing I touched of mine was my toothbrush and toothpaste, my pillow, favorite blanket, and chapstick! They had everything else there...I had to stay in the hospital gowns until I was discharged and I didn't even have to get my slippers out of my bag - they gave me some!
Good Bless you and I hope your surgery goes beautifully!

Let's see. Here are the things I used..
I took a change of clothes for every day. You know, the comfy clothes you wear around the house. (I was sponge bathing myself the first day post op)
Hubby brought me slippers. (The slippers they had were not wide enough for my feet) Stay away from fuzzy slippers; mine were nasty by the time I got home, dust bunnies galore.
Deoderant, tooth brush, tooth paste, hair schrunchies, powder, and purse. (It has all of my essential items.. comb, medications, lotion, make up (for lip gloss).
I'm the nerd so I had my cell phone and laptop. My laptop died my first day there. But, I was so tired that I really didn't have the energy to stay on for long.
I literally spent my time sipping, walking, and sleeping. Oh and pushing that PCA button was also important.. LOL
Good Luck,
Heather
