I ordered a sample pack of this and OMG!! I almost died... they are terrible (for my taste, anyway). Neither I or my husband (who would normally eat or drink anything) could stand them. I figured for 25g of protein I might as well try them... Good luck!

I like the protica stuff too! They go down smooth and make an easy way to get protein. I just re-ordered!

Thanks for that tip too! I ordered the Cappuccino since I'm a coffee junkie. Can't wait to try it! I liked the 30 day free trial deal, this way if I don't tolerate it it post op, I can send it back and have lost nothing!! Vi

I bought a huge thing of cherry Nectar and I HATE it. I love cherry flavor so I thought this would be good, but it sucks (at least to me). I got some sample packs of the other flavors and the only one I like is the roadside lemonade, and then only if I mix it with Chrytal light. Chocolate Unjury is awesome, especially if you add it to skim milk. I haven't tried any other flavors. Some of the other choices I was given was to drink LoCarb Carnation instant breakfast made with double strength milk (1/4 cup nonfat dry milk powder mixed with 1 cup skim milk). The double strength milk alone is like 16 gms of protein. Also, there is a new product that just came out called BeneProtein, made by the people who make Benefiber. You can get it at Walgreens.com, or ask at your local grocery store or pharmacy and they can order it for you. I got a bunch of free samples from the dietician and I can already tell it' going to be my main source of protein after my operation. It is completely oderless and tasteless, and you can mix it in any drink or even sprinkle it on food or add in when you make sugar free jello or pudding. It's only 10.99 a can, but the nutritionist said that instead of one scoop per serving I should use 1 1/2. I've tried to buy the Isopure ready made to try but it's always sold out when I go to the store. I'm told it's quite good.

Sheryl, Try watering down that cherry nector, I tryed it and hated it. Then a friend told me to take it half strength. I could not believe the differance in the flavor. It was great. Of course I am still pre-op so that may make a differance. Deb

Thanks for the tip on the beneprotein! I went and ordered a can for 10.99 with no tax or shipping on walgreens.com! Sounds perfect! I was trying to put Designer Whey into broths and pudding and it wasn't mixing too well!

I'M HAVING A STALLONE HIGH-PROTEIN (20g in 6.4 oz) MILK CHOCOLATE PUDDING WHICH IS REALLY GOOD & HAS A NICE TEXTURE. IF YOU LIKE HIGH-PROTEIN (20g in 1.76 oz) BARS & CHOCOLATE, GO TO WALLY WORLD & GET "PURE PROTEIN" CHOCOLATE DELUXE (ON THE BACK, IT SAYS, "AMERICA'S PROTEIN BAR) ... IT IS ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!! & IF YOU KINDA MU**** AROUND IN YOUR MOUTH, IT HAS A REALLY NEAT, CREAMY TEXTURE. ISOPURE BLUE RASPBERRY IS GOOD ... 40g & YOU GET 20 OZ OF FLUIDS AS WELL. I DON'T WANT TO BE BOTHERED ... I'M A "GRAB & EAT" TYPE OF PERSON SO I LOVE THESE READY-MADE WLS FOOD PRODUCTS. GOD BLESS YOU DAWN & NICK

I am 13 days postop. I purchased samples beforehand just so I wouldn't have to go to the store right after surgery. I'm really bad because I hate having the same thing twice in a row I found good inexpensive samples at the website below: http://www.enjoyhealth.com/samples.htm They have Nectar Samples and several other different ones. I have only found one in this sample pack that I simply could not tolerate (Nectar Tealicious) - I don't know why, but it just smelled funny to me. There are other sample packages to try at www.wlssupplies.com. At this site, you can purchase samples of 60 protein samples for $70. There are coupons somewhere to lower the cost, but I didn't have one. The shipping made it $90. This may not work for everyone, but for me, just knowing I don't have to have the same protein every day makes it worthwhile. I would NEVER drink the same thing even if I loved it -- just my own personal "thing." Cheryl

Ya'll really are awesome! I hope this has maybe helped some others of the Octoberies. I talked to some of my guy friends who use protein to lose fat and gain muscle and a lot of them rave about "Muscle Milk." I heard that all but the Vanilla are awesome! ~Kate

Careful with the Muscle Milk during the first weeks, I heard that has too many carbs for new POST OPS!
