What to pack??
Thanks so much for everyone's advice on what to take to the hospital. There are things on your lists that I hadn't even thought about, like my favorite pillow and chapstick.
P.J. party time friends! Never thought a stay in the hospital would be like a pajama party, eh? Wish I could take my laptop with me so I could e-mail y'all! Fun, fun, fun.... (Yea! Right. Until I wake up sore and wondering what the heck I've done to myself. Thank goodness there will be pain meds available and that the aches won't last too long.)

This is what I took with me the first time:
Chapstick (heard this was a MUST)
Hairbrush
Cell phone and charger
Pillow with a colorful pillow case so they know it's MINE!
Slippers
Bathrobe
Change of underwear (but I didn't wear them home anyway)
Powder, Shampoo, Conditioner, Hair Gel, Toothpaste, Toothbrush, Make-up (someone said you will want to look good because it will make you feel better, but I could have done without...)
Insurance Card, $20 Cash
I made sure to wear comfy clothes (very loose pants) that I could wear home. Didn't have a problem with the loose pants, but the bra sits a bit uncomfortable on the little incision below the breast bone so I ended up taking it off.
I just bought this citrus mouth spray by listerine at Walmart that I'm going to throw in my overnight bag for that nasty taste I had in my mouth after anesthesia.
This time I want to take a GOOD romantic book, in case I get the urge to read... anyone have any recommendations on a good book??
