Vi.....That is fantastic! I am so happy for you! Don't even concern yourself with the pain, it is more of a discomfort that anything else. You are going to do awesome! I'm so happy it is rescheduled and you are ready to go! Mary

I remember reading your original post, when they sent you home, and feeling so badly for you. And now, you're almost there! I'll be just a few days behind you, on the 25th. Say, since you've had the incisions, maybe you can tell me, what is the location of the incisions? I'm particularly curious to know if one is at the navel (belly button). I'll be thinking of you on the 20th. Best wishes, Sheryl

Hi Sheryl! I have 6 little incisions, two on each side of my belly and one in the middle, just below the breast area (my bra sits just above that one which made getting my underwire bra on a bit tricky the first few days) and one just above my belly button, maybe an inch above it. I can tell you that the LAP part of the procedure is a breeze. I was a little sore, and that was about it! But I was turning to my right side in bed about 2 days later (with the help of a pillow and was able to lay on my left side about a week later (that side was more sensitive for some reason) and just yesterday was able to lay ON my belly for a short while. Definitely bring your own pillow to the hospital -- this way you will be comfy while you are there and on the way home you can hold it over your belly for the bumpy ride. I think the surgery is going to be a breeze. The hard part for us will be getting in all that protein and water! I promise I will let you know when I get home how it went, so you'll know what to expect. I honestly think the whole experience will be easy on us. Thanks for all your good wishes! Vi
