2 days and counting

Thursday is the big day. And I have to say I'm more than alittle nervous. Today is my last day of solid food and I don't really feel like anything special. Maybe that's a good thing. I'm just trying to think of any last minute things I have to do or have to have in the house. Hope I'm ready! Debi

I'm right there with you. Been getting a bit more nervous now that is so close. Though I have to say I'm very comfortable with the decision...I'm just generally nervous about the surgery as I'm a surgery newbie . What time are you scheduled? I'm at 7 30 am, here. Melissa

Melissa, I have to be there at 6:30 am but probably won't have the surgery til around 10:00. Nothing like "hurry up and wait!" I guess they have alot to do to me before I go in. yuk I've had 3 c-sections and other surgeries, so I know what to expect, but I still get nervous. Are you having open or lap? Mine's open. I have to be there at 5:30 in the morning I think the surgery is at 7. I'm having Lap ..so will be easier recovery I understand. I hope so. Hope to see you all on the loosing side. Melissa

Debi, My date is also the 13th which is also my birthday. So a re-birth for me. I am also nervous but ready. Having everything ready for the next 3-4 week diet. Getting my bag packed and getting my children ready to stay with my parents. God bless you and your surgeon and I'll see ya on the losing side. Amanda

Amanda, Happy birthday and re-birthday! Wow, you really are ready. Now I'm starting to panic. I've got to get enough in the house for the next few weeks. I've got to do last minute shopping today.
