Nesting?
My surgery is only a few days away now. October 13th. And I find myself nesting like I did when my babies were due. It seems important all at once that the house be spotless, that there be plenty of groceries (not sure why since I won't be eating them lol) and everything planned out. I did finally drop off my prescriptions to get filled and will pick them up monday. I kept waiting for one of the local pharmacies to offer some deal like a gift card with new prescription. Ah well. Anyone else in "nesting" mode?
Melissa
I KEEP HAVING ALL THESE THOUGHTS OF HAVING TO GET THIS & THAT DONE BEFORE WLS ... IF I PRINTED IT OUT, IT WOULD BE A LIST A MILE LONG! NOW, IF MY BACKSIDE WOULD LISTEN TO MY THOUGHTS & GET UP AWAY FROM THIS PC , I COULD ACTUALLY ACCOMPLISH SOMETHING. NEVER HAD KIDS SO NOT SURE WHAT "NESTING" IS BUT IN MY SITUATION, I THINK IT'S JUST CALLED "HOUSE CLEANING"!!!!!!!!!!!! OH MY GOSH, WHAT UNPLEASANT WORDS!!
GOD BLESS YOU, MS MELISSA DAWN & NICK
18 DAYS & A WAKE UP!
Hi Melissa-- I have been in nesting mode since I found out my date two weeks ago: Oct 11. From then on Tthere have been so many lists made and changed. I tore apart my living room to paint-- had to prime 1/2 from the color I didn't like, so it took 2x as long. Here I am 8 hours before surgery, and it's still not done. Family have said they would fini**** for me while I'm in the hospital. Bit off more than I can chew!!
I found just getting the kitchen ready for all the food stages was challenging-- where to put everything? And , God forbid, someone around here eats "normal" food-- it will be tough go to make a decent dinner!!
So the house is clean-- tough with two big dogs, cats and a ferret and the laundry got done. I just wonder how many of those clothes I will wear again? I am really excited and just want to get to the really "losing side".
Good luck with your surgery.
