I got my surgery scheduled for 10/10/05 today. I can't wait! Good luck and best wishes to all of you.

Good luck you'll be 7 days ahead of me. Hopefully we will all feel like writing a quick note. I don't know about you all but I feel like I won the lottery. Scared to death but can't wait. I am so impressed with my surgeon, Dr. Sonnastine and my family doctor, Dr. Schrand, has been so supportive of my decision. He flat out told me he didn't know alot about it but give him all the information I could so he could read up on it. Goodluck everyone!!

Hi Carol F! I think that is great about you having your surgery on October 10th and I am really happy for you! I am 2 days after your surgery, my surgery is scheduled for October 12th and I can't wait. I wish you a lot of luck on your upcoming surgery and I wish you a speedy, painless recovery.

We are on the same day !! mine is scheduled here in Portmouth VA with Dr. Moore. Hope we can share our experiences with each other both before and after the surgery. Good luck to both of us, and everyone else on the October board. Lets keep in touch.

I am having my surgery that day too. I am pretty excited! I have had a few snafus with scheduling pre-op appointments, but they seem to be resolved now. Have you done your before pictures. I've lost 7 pounds following the pre-op diet they sent so I'm going to have my dh take the pics this weekend. I would love to lose another 10 before surgery. Good luck to you! Julie

Hi Carol! I think that is great about your surgery date and I wish you the best for a speedy recovery! My surgery date is 2 days after yours and I can not wait until it is over with! I also can not wait until I can fit into a Junior Misses again!
