Birth Control Question

OK friends...I'm finally in a position where I need to think about birth control and I'm hoping that some of you have some insight as to what would be the best kind. I've heard differing opinions about the effectiveness of the Pill (absorbtion), weight gain concerns, etc...,so any advice would be appreciated. I go to see my OB/GYN next week, and I'd like to be as informed as possible.... Thanks! Kate

I had the ortha evra patch and WAS very happy with it for 18 months- then I got pregnant. Nothing's foolproof.
