Hey, everyone! So glad we're having a mini reunion here and so glad to hear everyone is doing so well. Starting weight: 247.5 Surgery weight: 245.5 Today's weight: 160.0 Goal weight: 145.0 Total lost to date: 87.5 I've been on a plateau for several months now. Can't blame anyone but myself. I can say that I've pretty much maintained. When I see the scales going up a couple of pounds, I cut back and lose it quickly. Deep inside I want to lose another 15 pounds but know that I'll have to start exercising again. Several months ago I had a hernia that kept me from most types of exercise. Well, I don't have that excuse anymore as I've had that repaired. It is just a matter of getting back into a routine. I've dug out my exercise dvds and just need to set a schedule for myself. My life seems to have decided to spin out of control these days. Just when I think maybe things will settle down, my world starts spinning even faster. Don't think I told y'all that hubby has a new job on St. Croix, Virgin Islands. He is already there. I've been packing and sorting through stuff we'll want to take as the job can last anywhere from one year to eight. The company he's working for will ship whatever we want over. Anyhow, I'm going to spend two months with him, February and March. Then, because of commitments, I'll come home for three more months before I go join him permanently the first week in July. My daughter and her boyfriend just announced that they are pregnant. I'm going to be a grandmother, although I've already informed my daughter I want to be called "Nanna". I'll be planning a bridal shower for sometime in April. Christy and Chad will be married on May 26th. The next day, May 27th, my baby boy will graduate from high school. Then the month of June I will be having my first artshow. July I will fly to St. Croix to join my dear hubby. Then in August I'll fly home to throw a baby shower and will visit until the baby is born sometime in September. Between all this, I have paintings to complete to sell at my artshow, two clients to finish drawings for, and a book to edit that will most likely get published this next year. Phew! My prayer..."Please, dear God! Don't add anything else to my schedule this year. I'm already worn out just thinking about everything that has to be done!" Ah, I feel a shopping spree coming on! My new escape from reality. Peggy B. www.peggyborel.com

Hello Everyone, It's been a long time. I do still lurk every once in a while. I just found out I'm pregnant, but prior to that my weight loss had stalled for a few months. I got as low as 250. Starting Weight : around 400 Surgery Weight: 389 Current weight: 255 Total Loss from surgery date: 134 pounds I was wearing 32/34 at the time of surgery and now I wear 18/20 (although the waistline is starting to grow a little). Everyone is doing so good!! Hopefully after this baby is born, I can continue on my weightloss path. I'm still trying to eat healthy during my pregnancy!!! take care!! Megen

hi all..I've been hiding awhile, and not posting as much due to life being busy, but I have enjoyed reading how everyone is going..Great thread. Pre-op Weight - 278 Start Weight - 263 Goal Weight 139 Today's Weight - 135.5 Total Loss - 142.5 I had a breast reduction lift on Dec 10th..and was a size 48 D before surgery and was 36DD the day of my BR. Today, 6 wks later, I am wearing a 36C. I am scheduled for a Tummy Tuck on Feb 13th...same surgeon. It is being paid for 100% by insurance.. - Yeah (tricare prime) My thighs I'm most self-conscious about b/c I know when shorts weather comes around, and bathing suit time, I'll want to wear things that don't go too short..as no one else can see my thighs :> but who cares.....I'm so much happier now with my body, flaws and all, than I was when I was 278! I feel so much healthier.

I'm doing ok, eating too much though and falling back into eating at night "Sigh" I"m not gaining but I'm not losing either. I'm getting in about 900 calories a day with most of it being protien. I really wish people at work would stop bringing in treats ;o) I feel so tired lately. I'm so glad everyone's doing well, starting: 300 Now: 180 Dr. Goal : 170 (10 lbs left) My Goal : 155 (25 lbs left) Total lost: 120 lbs For those of you who had PS and had insurance pay for it: My ins great-west will pay for a breast reduction (I'm still a 38DD) but they won't give any information on an abdominiplasty. on the surgery part of the plan it states: "Other Reconstructive Surgery The Plan covers reconstructive surgery when the primary purpose is to improve function of the underlying structures or to restore large skin defects due to port wine stain. Surgery to correct significant congenital defects is covered only if the defect interferes with bodily function (not psychological function). Reconstructive surgery performed as a result of trauma or disease is covered when reconstruction begins within one year of the trauma or Illness (except for reconstructive surgery as a result of a mastectomy). Subsequent surgical reconstructive procedures integral or linked to the covered reconstruction, that cannot be performed within the year due to medical considerations, may be covered more than one year later, but only if the planning for these procedures (as noted in the Member's medical records) takes place within one year of the trauma or Illness." I'm thinking if I can get my chiropractor to help with a letter about my stomach muscles being a factor in my back problems and my PC dr doing a letter on rashes it should work. The part I'm thinking of is the "The Plan covers reconstructive surgery when the primary purpose is to improve function of the underlying structures (stomach muscles=back) " Any thoughts?? Thanks
