Yes, I've been a stranger. Life is often hectic and unpredictable. Hopefully I'm back for good and I won't take any more sabbaticals. I know I was suppose to be planning Las Vegas but my schedule will not allow me to travel in March. If you want I could plan it for a weekend in October. Just let me know! The other thing is..........I need help doing my appeal for my breast reduction. Human denied it saying it was cosmetic. Can you give me any advice on what to put in the appeal letter. I need to get it done ASAP! I would appreciate any assistance you are able to give me. I missed you guys and hopefully my busy life has slowed down somewhat. Talk with you soon!

Are your breasts large enough that they cause back and/or shoulder pain? If so and you have or can get medical proof of that, the surgery may be considered "medically necessary" instead of cosmetic. I'm not sure if that's your situation, but I wanted to offer the suggestion. Good luck on your efforts with plastic surgery. It's nice to see you on the board again! Kellie

Keke, in order to get it medically approved, my understanding is that you need to have a certain amount (not sure how many grams) of tissue removed, it can't just be a cosmetic breast lift. Also you need to have a medical reason, e.g. pain in your back, shoulders, due to the weight of the breast tissue. I'm not saying you should lie, but if there is any shoulder ache, upper pack pain, talk to your doctor about it, talk about how many years you have felt it, whether you have to use ice, a heating pad, massage, to get relief from the discomfort. The surgery has to be performed for a medical reason. One other medical reason is if you ever get skin problems, like fungal infections in the skin, due to excess breast tissue. That can be a problem during summertime heat, I had it happen once under my breasts, it was very uncomfortable, mostly itchy, and was treated with anti-fungal topical medications. I'm sorry Vegas won't work out, but as it turns out, I'll be there twice in February! Once for work, and once with my husband on a trip he has planned for the two of us. I couldn't really justify a third trip back in March, so it's just as well... I hope this helps! Sheryl

Hi Keke You look great. I also want the breast reduction but i am only down to like 235 so I am not sure if you have to be at goal weight for this to happen. Mine were 54HH when I started and now a 42F with tons of skin. How far down did you get? We were always pretty close in weight. Good luck girlie Deb
