Yeah, a lot of us continue to have problems with both. Regarding the constipation issue, different things work for different people. I use Milk of Magnesia every other day; 4 tablespoons taken with a 16 ounce glass of water. Some people use colace, others swear by "Smooth Move" tea. Others still get good results with Benefiber or Metamucil. You may have to try a few different products to find something that works well with your physiology. Regarding the hemmoroids, thankfully mine are not particularly painful. There are various over-the-counter remedies available for the pain, itching and discomfort that are commonly associated with hemmoroids. If those don't help you, I'd suggest talking to your doctor. Good luck finding some relief! Kellie

Thanks Kellie, It is just good knowing that you are not alone and not as weird as you think you are.....(smile ) I know it has something to do w/ fluid levels too. I am really working on increasing this. I already have benefiber and that does not seem to work. I know about colace but I havent tried it yet bc the thought of another pill to take makes me apprehensive. I may try the M.O.M. that has been around forever so maybe it is realiable. Thanks for the time and your post. Best wishes and happy New Year Cynamon

I will definately have to look into that, I'm almost 15 months out and still have problems. I go maybe once every 4-5 days, I have to take an adult suppository just to do that. Miralax never worked for me as the below post had suggest, so I'll give these a try. Don't want a blockage here. Melissa

I have the same problem. My doctor suggested to double up on my Slenda in take. I love splenda and it worked well for me. I have also added a litlle more "fat" in to my diet which also helps. I dont go over over board I just have a few french fry's about once a week. Hope this helps.

This isn't gross at all--pretty common actually. I was having major problems with this too--I added fresh cold pressed flax oil to my morning shake along with 1 T of benefiber (gritless/tasteless). I also take one stool softener every night (ok with my surgeon as long as no laxatives in it--I buy the generic Target brand) and this keeps me daily/without straining. The straining was causing the bleeding so once I got everything softer and moving regularly, I stopped the bleeding/pain. Sometimes I use A&D ointment to help that area if I need it. Good Luck!
