Well, it's been a year plus, and I'm truly stuck at not-quite-goal. So, what has been helpful for others at this juncture? I'd still like to lose 25 more pounds.....but, i'm not upset at having already lost 110, for sure. Life is so different and my health is so much better already! I like wearing regular size clothes, walking and working without pain, and not being hungry. Any suggestions ?? Cyndi 285/175/150

Cyndi, I dont have any suggestions, but we are practically in the same boat except you have lost more than I have. I have only lost 80 pounds and I want to loose 25 more but I have not lost anything since November, I think subconsciously I have been testing/tasting more than I should have but I am going to get it back on track TODAY! Exercise, drinking my water, portion measurement and control ect. We have come too far. I am looking for the plateau buster diet and I am going to incorporate that as well. Good luck. P/s: It looks like we also may share the same first name....

Cyn-- Thanks for the encouragement. Congrats on your success so far! At least this time the 80 pounds has a better chance of staying off. I don't graze or taste much, but I stopped the protein supplement shake totally because I just couldn't stand them any more.... the dietician suggested that I do at least one per day just to force in more protein to turn up the metabolism a bit. I'm doing ok on the exercise and water, but will also try to get MORE water in.....it's strange but I've actually come to like the stuff !! Have you checked the main message board for the plateau buster?? Just ask and someone will surely send it for you. Happy New Year.

Fist of all congrats on the weight loss. Remember that 80 pounds is off forever!!! I am stuck too but I have to admit its my own fault. I lost 130 pounds and I'm very grateful but now I have been eating whatever I want which means too much snacking. I've always had a hard time keeping protein down and I've relied a lot on soup and snacks now I just snack more. I've gotten down to 170lbs and I'm a size 12 but I haven't lost weight since October. I feel upset with myself because I'm not doing everything I can to lose. I haven't been to the gym in months. Hopefully I'll be able to turn things around. Thanks for letting me vent...........or confess. Good luck to you in the continuing but hellofalot easier battle.
