I just want to shout it to the heavens!!!!
CONGRATULATIONS MS VIOLET ... ENTERED "ONE"DERLAND & THE CENTURY CLUB ALL IN ONE GIANT STEP! YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! GOOD FOR YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!
WE MUST BE SISTERS UNDER THE SKIN, GIRL. I'M SUCH A SLOW LOSER THAT I FELT LIKE THE "QUEEN OF STALLS", BUT YA KNOW WHAT? EVERY LITTLE POUND I STRUGGLED FOR ADDED UP & NOW I'M IN THE CENTURY CLUB RIGHT ALONG SIDE YOU! REMEMBER THE CHILDREN'S STORY ABOUT THE TORTOUS (sp?) & THE HARE? THE FAST, FAST RABBIT LOST THE RACE TO THE SLOW, DETERMINED TURTLE!
ONE GOOD THING I NOTICED ABOUT LOSING SLOWLY IS THAT I HAVEN'T REGAINED ANY WEIGHT. I'LL LOSE TO A LOW LEVEL, THEN BOUNCE UP & DOWN A COUPLE OF POUNDS & THEN AFTER A COUPLE WEEKS LOSE TO A NEW LOW LEVEL, BUT I'VE NEVER REGAINED 5 OR 10 POUNDS & HAD TO RE-LOSE THEM LIKE BEFORE SURGERY.
KEEP UP THE GREAT EFFORT, MS VIOLET ... & HERE'S A BIG HOORAY FOR US SLOW LOSERS!
GOD BLESS YOU ... DAWN & NICK
Violet, congratulations! You know this is absolutely not a race - it's about the long haul, making healthy choices for the rest of our lives. Slow and steady is healthier than rapid weight loss. Out of the 200s, what heaven! I'll bet you feel and look fabulous. Congratulations to you on this temendous achievement. What a wonderful Christmas / Hannukah / Kwanzaa present to yourself: a weight below 200, with improved health and vitality for the rest of your life.
Best wishes to you,
Sheryl
Congrats on the great accomplishment. The important thing is that you made it. There is no time limit on things like this. Some lose faster than others, a loss of any kind no matter how long it takes is better than a gain.
I too wouldn't change a thing. Again, congrats on your big accomplishment. It's time to
Have a great holiday and safe New Year.
All the best,
