Below goal

I finally got to my goal weight and actually a bit below this morning....I am just so grateful to be a "normal weight" and not morbidly obese anymore!!! My highest weight at the doctor before surgery was 226 at 5'2"....I was 134.6 this morning on my scale for a grand total of 91.4 pounds!!! My highest weight at home was 222 for a total of 87.4 pounds gone....My original goal was to reach 136!!! I used to wear a size 18W pants with elastic waists and I was in a 2X shirt.....now I can get into a size 4P pants and small tops....and that is comfortable!! I have had some trouble with low blood sugar and low blood pressure, but hopefully that will get better over time.....my body has to adjust.....I really have a hard time eating sugar, fat or any "bad carbs" so my diet really consists of meat, vegies and fruit....I do eat protein bars and shakes to supplement. I cooked a low glycemic Thanksgiving dinner which was great and was able to eat without a low blood sugar reaction.... I exercise by walking on my treadmill at least 3 times a week....that helps me feel better overall. I am just so grateful for the surgery....it truly was the best thing I ever did!!!! I have never reached a weight loss goal before today!!! YIPPEE!

Tanja, Congrats on reaching your goal! What an accomplishment. Good luck with the low blood sugar and low blood pressure issues; hopefully those things will be easily manageable for you in the future. Keep up your great work and enjoy being at goal Kellie
