im home again,,,

I am home after 3 days off hell, i was in hospiatl sat,sun and mon,came home today, i was stuck 12 times and had 6 blown ivs and finally i have a picc line put in,i am down to 114lbs and im scared,my doc said im ot absorbing my nutrients,and my fluids so i have the line for feeding,i will go back next week,but for right now im home and feeling ok.......................thanks for your prayers..............vickie

Dang Vickie, I am glad you are home, but I am sorry for everything you had to go through. 114 lbs? Boy don't I wish. I hope your ok. What can they do to make sure you don't lose anymore? Do you have that line in now, or did they take it out before you left? I hope everything works out for you sweetie, you really don't deserve this! ((HUGS)) I am thinking about you Erin

I'm glad you are home but sorry you had to go through so much! Blown IV's are the worst and you had it x6? Good Lord. I will keep you in my prayers for sure, and I truly hope you start to feel better real soon. Thanks for letting us know you are home! Jeanne

Vickie, I am continuing to keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Do they have any idea what's going on with you? Have you thought about seeking a second opinion (or a third opinion) from another doctor or surgeon? I know we can develop strong allegiances to our surgeons, but do not hesitate to look elsewhere for help to figure out what's going on. Good luck and God bless - Kellie
