Where is everyone??? I'm lonesome!!!

Feeling lonesome and nobody's here tonight! Where are y'all and what have y'all been up to? I've been hanging around the house today working on the room that is to become my art studio / writer's office in a couple of weeks. I'm finding I'm getting too old to do the things I used to do. Lordy! If I only had a fairy godmother who would hire someone to come in and remodel my house for me. Ah!!! What a dream. Where are my friends from trading spaces? I'm 48 years old and suddenly find it necessary to get this house in order. I want to be able to sit back and enjoy the fruits of my labor when I get to the golden years when I can't remodel anymore. I want to write and paint on canvas not strip floors and paint walls!!! Alas, homes are a never ending remodeling project I'm afraid. I'm always changing the colors of my walls! Peggy B.

Hi Peggy, it is so quiet. I have been doing the same here. It is that time of year. I have to put away summer in order to have room for winter. We have twin girls who are 8. I am 46 and this clutter is driving me crazy. Remodeling is always going on. I haven't had paint on my bedroom walls for 2 years. We live in an old house, have for 19 years. It has taken forever to strip all the years of wallpaper from the 1940's and up. They just walllpapered overtop and then started painting on top of that. Oh well I too am wishing for the fairy godmother. Have a great night. Jane

Hi Peggy, well i a have been working on some outdoor repair to our house and let me say that it feels great to be able to climb and get around!!!!!!!! I am still just trying to get by and deal with my weight loss.............vickie r.

Peggy, I'm here because I don't have a house to work on. Just a condo. Seems like everyone has abandoned this site for some reason. Not as talkative as before. Everyone must be busy. I'd love to have a house to do all the remodeling, painting, etc.. Who knows maybe some day I will have 1. Hope the house comes out great. Lisa J. in Mass
