Boy time flies when you're having fun. I'm 1yr and 1 day post-op. I saw my surgeon today and everything is good. I'm down 152lbs only a 6lb loss in 3 months, my last visit with thim. I was bummed because I was hoping for more. But I guess it's better than nothing. He said there is nothing to be bummed out, i've exceed all expectations. He said that I have lost something like 73% of my body weight, an average that usually is met 2yrs after surgery. So i'm doing good. Also, I saw the nutritionist. We still have to come up with a plan for me to eat more protein. It's hard to do. Anyway, she was pleased as well. I promise I will post a pic soon as I get one taken. I have to show off soon, so where better than here. Thanks all for listening. Happy Birthday/Anniversary to anyone upcoming. I'm going to celebrate mine tonight. Love you all, Lisa J. in Mass

Sounds like your surgeon is very pleased with your success. You have come along way in a year! Keep smilin' and keep on movin'. The rest of the weight you want to lose will come off, maybe a little slower than in the beginning but it will come off. Just you wait and see! Now go find some protien, young lady!!! Peggy B.

Peggy, Thanks for the kind words. I can't eat alot of protein. I get stuffed easy and if I try to eat anything else or drink. I get sort of sick. I've been getting dizzy too. My nutritionist wants me to add some salt to my food. I don't use any salt. I like my food bland. But I may have to use it now. I will keep moving and smiling. right back at you. Lisa J. in Mass
