what can cause...........

Ok I am almost one year out , i have been having so much pain,i have terrible pain in my belly,i have to get intoa fetal position and just cry for 2 hrs until it lets up. It comes on so hard after i eat. I had adhesions surgery in june and the pain is worse than it was that time. I went to the doc last week and he gave me darvocets,i swear this is candy forthe kinda pain i am in. I have gotten to the point that i am praying to die,when i get in the pain,all i can say is why did i do this to myself..............i had a ct scan last week and nothing showed up....................well i had to vent.........i will go call my doc. thanks vickie r.

Vickie, I have no idea what can cause this, but for goodness sake, you are asking the wrong people; we can sympathize and we can support (and we do!) but you need serious medical help. Go to the emergency room, if that's what it takes for someone to take you seriously. Unexplained abdominal pain of this magnitude should not be ignored. A CT scan is great, but if that didn't uncover the problem, you need to keep digging. Push your physician, and if he/she isn't giving you the attention and follow up you need, then find another doctor to see. Did you ask your WLS surgeon for help? Have you seen a gastroenterologist? Those are the two people I would call, if I were in your situation. Please get the help you need. What you are feeling is not normal. I hope you feel better soon and find the cause of this pain. I don't usually post, but was very concerned about your post. I have a friend who had the type problem you are having and almost died. The doctor she saw was was not familiar with her surgery. She had a kink in her instestines caused by the large amount of weight she had lost. Go to the doctor and make sure you see someone that is familiar with Gastric Bypass. My prayers are with you. Hey pretty lady...this is a big concern of your October family.... go to the doctor asap...and don't let him give you any bullhogwash...get to the bottom of it asap...this is not something you want to play around with...and tell him to take his pills and put them where the sunshine does not shine...really...you don't want pills, you want answers....good luck and don't let them bulldoze you... Sorry to hear you are still having problems, just keep calling the doctor and tell him something has to give and if you don't get results from him find another one. Don't give up because you have come so far.
