Bathing suit

I'm sure alot of you will appreciate this one! I was able to wear a 2 piece size 8 bathingsuit yesterday!!! This was the first time ever that I was able to go out to the waterpark in public without covering myself up with a giant t-shirt! I also rode alot of the waterslides and tube rides and fit just fine~it was an awesome experience. Waterworld used to be a summer tradition for the famliy to go each year. I didn't go last year because I felt so bad about myself and the way that I looked and felt and there was no way in hell I was going to be caught wearing a bathingsuit in public...even with a t-shirt. I'm beginning to feel like a normal person inside this body. It's hard for me to accept myself and my body sometimes but I was glad that I was able to do it and have a great time.

Way to go, that had to feel great. I on the other hand will never be in a two piece but I wore a size 12 this year with one of those little things you tie around the but. Its the first time in my life I didn't wear an old lady bathing suit. Good luck and congratulations. Jane

That's awesome Greelygirl. All I have is 2 pieces. I wrap a towel around me when I am not in the pool. But I love wearing them. I haven't been anywhere public yet in one. Just at friends houses. But you go girl! Erin
