Is it hard to believe?

I am still having a hard time believing I can wear a size 8 pants and med top. I still tend to pick up a size or two bigger and when I look at myself I can't see me being that small. Is anyone else going through this? Marcey 255/150/150

Hi Marcey, I totally agree with you. I went shopping for that black halter and those white shorts in my updated pictures last week. I picked up the shorts and they said a medium. Even though I can wear a size 6, I didn't think they would fit. But they fit perfect. In fact, I need to stop trying on larges. I always grab a medium and a large to take to the dressing room. I was in one rack and saw this size 2x halter top. I picked it up and thought you have to be kidding me, how in the heck did I ever wear this size. Back then to grab that size, it never seemed to be that big. Now it's looks like a tent when you hold it up to yourself. So I do know what your going through! Erin 310/156/151

I still take 2-3 sizes into a fitting room with me, and then have disbelief when the smallest size fits. The time when it really hits me is when I'm doing laundry! I wash clothes, throw them in the dryer, then when I take them out, I wonder who they'll fit, because it sure won't be me! I wonder if our minds will ever catch up with our bodies? Hi Marcey, You are definitely not alone!!! I do all the same things the other ladies wrote of and then some--I take 3-4 sizes into the dressing room, hesitate to sit in small chairs or chairs that look like they won't hold me , I even made myself try on all my clothes (again) when I took them out of the dryer and was packing for a trip. I was so worried those little shorts weren't going to fit when I opened my suitcase (and where do I buy other clothes in my enormous size overseas?)...I am told it may be years until we let our brains catch up...so I just laugh about it and ask a really good friend to help out when I shop! Congratualtions on your success!!! -Laura 5'11, -115lbs, at goal Size 8 pants, M shirt (yay!)

Yea marcey I am also effected. My mind just won't catch up. I always knew I was a little slow. I started in 28 jeans and now can wear a 12. My family fussed at me because they are new and they are baggy. I never would try anything on and I still don't. I bring the stuff home and if I don't like it I take it back. I hope someday this old moster from my past will soon go away. Congrats to everyone jane 296/163/156 to have a normal bmi but I am happy at this wt.
