how much have u lost?
Hi,
Everyone is doing great! I was told I was a "slow loser". I have lost 120 pounds since the day of surgery. It's not something that you want to hear from your surgeon -sort of makes you feel discouraged, but the scale continues to move. And, since my recent hernia surgery, things are really moving again. My appetite has not been the same and I can't eat as much as I did prior to July 12th. So........we'll see what happens.
Finda Nessy, I think you are doing great!

389 - day of surgery
269 - current weight
180 - ultimate goal weight (for me!) - 89 pounds to go!!!!!!!
I'm a slow loser................And I hate it but I thank God that I'm loosing. I've been slacking on exercise and I can tell the difference. I will be back at it on Monday and hopefully reporting good news of pounds down I'm down about 110! I was also more muscle than fat so maybe that makes a difference. Good luck and keep at it!

I've lost 97 lbs since surgery...which is just over 80% of my excess body weight. (I started at 240, my ideal body weight is 120).
Since we all started at such different weights, I'm curious as to how we're doing as far as percentages of excess body weight lost....
My surgeon's goal for me was to lose 75% of my excess body weight, which is the average for gastric bypass patients. So, technically I've reached my goal, but I'd like to lose another 18 lbs (goal of 125)
Anyone else want to chime in??
