Hi everyone! I just got back from visiting family from Louisiana on Tuesday. I hadn't seen them in a very long time! I'm still in counseling and I tell you what, it has done wonders for my life. By going to counseling, I had the courage to get on the airplane and fly out to see almost complete strangers who are my family. I found that not having them in my life was a bad thing and that now, I can put things in the past and move on and create a better relationship with them. They were so shocked to see me. My Grandpa didn't even recognize me when I got off the plane. I went up to him and said PAW PAW? He just turned around and looked an me up and down and just held onto me crying. He said you look soo good baby. I can't believe it's you in there. He said that he was worried for me because of how out of control my weight had gotten and he is just thrilled at my results. It was awesome! Also, for the first time ever~ I was able to fit in an airplane seat with plenty of room and the seatbelt wasn't strectched out to the end. Amazing! So, life is good and I have no complaints ..at least this week Hope you all are doing good! *oh and yes, I also updated my profile too..with some past and present pictures

I peeked at your profile- you look fabulous!! How great you could reconnect with your family and have a new perspective on your relationships with family members. Oh the JOY of fitting on an airplane! And not needing that seatbelt extender!! I can so relate to what you said about that. And I am so so happy to be seated next to an overweight person, because I can be super nice to them and help them be comfortable, move the arm rest out of the way so they can share my space, now that I no longer need all of it. Congratulations on coming SO FAR and doing so well! Sheryl

Thanks Sheryl you look fabulous too! This surgery has changed my entire life and have made things for the better and I'm a better person for it It's great not to have to use the extender isn't it?? I used to pray for a window seat so I could be smashed up against it instead of being in the middle or the aisle where I was in everyone's way. You just learn to appreciate things more. Congrats to you too and continued success!
