It's a boy!
Hello fellow Octoberites...
Just stopping by to let you know that William James was born at 8:23am on June 29.
I had some irregular heart rhythms after the C-section and was sent to ICU for 12 hours, but that cleared up and baby and I are healthy and ready to go home!
There didn't seem to be any surgery related issues at all and baby weighed in at 7lbs 7oz... the biggest of my babies! So it is true that babies take what they need.
I can't figure out how to add a photo to my page just yet... I will have to work on that later, but our family site has pics: http://www.babysites.com/sites/william629/default.asp?page=home&seq=1
Also- I have lost another 17lbs... which brings my total to 81 since surgery!
I am hoping this still keeps me on track. I know I will have to work a little harder to get back into losing mode, but I think it's all worth it in the end!
Happy 4th of July everyone!
Ann
Congratulations. What a miracle. To think a beautiful healthy baby and a major wt loss also. I am very happy everything went ok. Just curious, the day of your surgery did they not do a preg. test? I thought that was standard before any surgery was done. But who cares right? Sorry your surgeon made you feel bad. You needed
encouragment and hope not feeling like you did something wrong.
Enjoy this, they grow up so fast and just think you will be able to play and run and keep up with him. I went to the park 2 weeks ago and went down the slide for the first time in my life. Everyday is something new.

Ann, I was so excited to see your post. I remember when you first let us know you were unexpectedly pregnant, right after your WLS; I felt so concerned for you. I am so happy everything has turned out alright and little William is healthy and strong. You have quite a story to tell.
Warmest congratulations on your new little boy! I love his name; very classic. James is my son's middle name as well. Will you call him William or Bill, or Will, or Billy, or ?? I even knew a William who was called Billiam by some of his friends.
I hope all goes well for you; having a newborn in the house is wonderful, but exhausting and very challenging at times. I'll be thinking of you.
