Hi all, The above title says it all. I have been just so busy that I haven't had the time to post. Now I will make some time to post more. I'm doing ok. Only down 132lbs, was hoping to be down alot more. I guess it's better than nothing. I've also been experiencing some major heartburn. I had it before surgery, but since then it's become worse, my gastroenterologist has no idea why it is getting worse. I had a stress test yesterday to rule out heart problems which my doctor thought could be a factor to the heartburn. The test came out negative. I'm happy, but the heartburn pain is so horrible. I even take 2 types of meds for it. On a brighter note. I got a temp job working I hope until late August or early September, which is what has been taking up alot of my time. I get up at 5 am, get train at 6:15 wor****il about 4:15 pm, go to Curves, eat dinner, relax a bit then bed. Hopefully I can get back on a regular schedule. I miss all of your posts. I enjoyed reading them and receiving them as well. I see my surgeon on 7-6-06 and I hope to lose a few more lbs. I haven't gone to any support group meetings yet as I just don't have the time, but I may have to try and go to at least 1 before my 1 yr anniversary. Sorry to bore all of you. I hope to be back on more. Take care all and I look forward to your messages and replies. Always, Lisa J. in Mass

Ok, when I was a T.O.P.S. leader, I wanted to SPANK people when they used the word "ONLY" before the amount of weight loss. ONLY 132 lbs?? Girl that is a major life changing accomplishment. NEVER NEVER say ONLY!!! That's fantastic progress. Feel good about yourself! And join a support group! I'm running one with a girl who had surgery in December and ran a 26.2 mile marathon last weekend in Hawaii. This support group meets every Sunday and it's the best thing I could have done! Hearing what other's go through and helping new people puts it all in perspective for me! Hugs, Vi

Hey Lisa, Sorry to read about the reflux problems...I've just had some trouble with that myself, but nowhere near as bad as what you are experiencing. I hope you can get some relief soon! And congratulations on the new job; it's keeping you busy, and maybe keeping you from snacking at home. That's a good thing! Plus you're keeping up your commitment to Curves, that is fabulous. And, my dear, the last thing you should do is beat yourself up for losing "only" 132 lbs. For heaven's sake, did you even hear what you said? YOU LOST ONE HUNDRED AND THIRTY TWO POUNDS. That's like losing a whole person. You have every reason to be proud of this tremendous achievement. The stress on your joints, your bones, your heart, your lungs, your endocrine system, and on and on...all drastically reduced or eliminated. Your life expectancy has gone up by a huge factor. And those years will be lived in better health than you could ever have hoped for before! Take care of yourself! Sheryl
