Broke the Plateau From Hell!!!
I'm so excited! I have upped my fluid intake to over 100 oz. a day, upped my protein & tried to up my calorie intake a little & the sales finally moved. Not only did they move, they jumped! I am down from 180-182 where I have been since early March to 175! WooHoo!! I am gonna keep up the water intake as it seems to help & I also have more energy! I'm at least getting more exercise running to the

We have been doing a little thing over on the Texas Board to remain accountable for our fluids. I never thought I could do it, because I usually have trouble with a lot of fluids, but it surprised me! The weight loss floored me as I never expected it! Now I am trying to just push fluid! I have to pee a lot, but I know that's flushing toxins, etc. out too. I don't like water unless it's real cold & I have no fridge down stairs where I work, so I usually add the Crystal Light singles to my bottle of water from the fountain. I love the peach tea!! Yummy! Before I realize it I've had 2 or more bottles, not including my decaff hot tea in the morning!

I could not believe it was something like 140 oz!! After the second day of more than 130 oz, I lost 2 pounds! Then 3 in the next 2 days. I didn't drink as much as I had been this weekend, but was still down almost a pound in the three day weekend. I had a feeling I wasn't eating enough, so I tried getting in more good foods & I think that also helped! I am gonna start adding back in a protein shake every morning & see if that helps too!

I JUST HAVE TO THANK YOU FOR POSTING THIS SITE ADDRESS FOR CALCULATING NEEDED FLUIDS ... I K-N-O-W THAT I NEED IT, BUT THIS REALLY BROUGHT IT HOME HOW LITTLE I WAS ACTUALLY DRINKING vs HOW MUCH I SHOULD BE DRINKING.
I POSTED IT ON THE SC BOARD & HAD THE SAME REACTION OVER THERE ... LIKE, OHHHHH MYYYYY GOSHHHHH! WE'RE ALL TRYING TO DRINK MORE NOW.

You know I went 14 long, tortorous weeks averaging only 1 # per week loss. Then something changed in my body (I didn't change much of anything) & I started losing more ... Seems sometimes no matter what you do or don't do, your body just needs some "down time" from losing weight ... Time to rebalance itself or something. Anyway, the point is, these slow times do break & we do lose weight again! Stick in there, Ms Mary!
Congratulations!!!!!!!!! It's awesome to see that scale move after it's "stuck" for a while! I too have been drinking more water than usual. I normally drink 4 of the 16.9 oz water bottles a day, plus a 9 to 12 oz protein drink. Lately I'm able to easily drink more, so I'm switching to 20 oz water bottles and starting on a 5th bottle! Yes, the bathroom and I are real close now! I can go anywhere in town, and tell you where the bathroom is in that establishment! I think the funniest part is, when I get up in the night to go tinkle, all 3 cats follow me to the bathroom, then follow me back to bed! I wonder what they are thinking???
