Am I Weird? Or Is This Happening to Everyone?
Okay, so I have NO complaints (TG) as far as my surgery and recovery, -110# and now more than 6 months out. What I concerned over is this: Within the last three weeks I have not wanted solid food AT ALL. At first I thought it was just a PMS thing (sorry guys) because I have such bad periods I usually avoid food because I want to hurl all the time. But that has come and gone....and I am left only wanting my protein shakes, my waters and crystal lights...and Planters Dry Roasted Peanuts. That's all I want. I keep taking my vitamins, I keep trying to force myself to eat "real" food, but frankly, I am not interested in it and most of it makes me feel ill right now.
So, am I weird with this peanuts and liquid fetish? Or is everyone experiencing something like this (whether it's peanuts or something else)?
Thanks Ya'll....I figure this has to break soon....any tips would be appreciated.

You know that hit me Friday. I have not dumped since surgery but two times this week I got bad stomach aches and diarreah(sorry for the graphicness!).Anyway, now I am not wanting to eat. I try everything but it just doesn't taste right, feel right, or its just weird. I thought I was alone. Guess I will keep up with the shakes and I want cantelope real bad!
It's not really happening to me, but I don't think it will hurt you to stick with liquids for a while, if that's what you want. You are still able to get all your protein. With the hot weather, you will need more liquids anyway. Since, you're eating peanuts, you know it's not something physically wrong. I wouldn't worry about it.
Take Care!

I go through it too. I ate nothing but canteloupe for several days. Then I go for a few days & feel like I ate tons of food & can't figure out where I put it! I try to keep my snacks good ones, like almonds, peanuts or grapes and cheese, that way I at least get my protein in if I don't feel like eating anything else. Just make sure you stay hydrated! That also helps with your weight loss!
You're not alone!!

Be careful of the dairy products. I'd never been lactose intollerent before and I couldn't figure out what was wrong with me. The bloating was awful and painful. I went off milk for a week and it was gone. So I tried it again a few days ago and yup it's definately the milk. No more SF latte's for me
Hey Jennifer!
I don't do lactose anyway ...we use Lactaid for everything because my daugther is really intolerant, and I ahve always been sensitive. You might try using that if you REALLY want a latte- the whole Lactaid is like a lactose free half and half, although the skim works fine too- just add another ice cube or 2 for thickness
