My wow for the week was for mother's day. my hubby and kids took me to dinner and we went to a place that I haven't been since pre-op. At that time I had to sqiush myself into the booth and my chest was resting on the table the whole time. Fast-forward to this weekend -6 months later- and I just sat down and still had room for my 6 year old to sit on my lap and he wasn't even touching the table. life is good WOW!!! Good luck on your journey, jennifer 361/249/175ish

I'm still in shock! I just came from K Mart, my youngest daughter wanted to get a new pair of jeans (kid's smart, she knows a child support check usually comes on Mondays). So I'm waiting for her to try on clothes and decide to sit in the dressing room across from her. There is a pair of jeans on the bench in there so I hold them up, they look big enough, so I try them on. They fit great! The legs were a little baggy, but the rest fit perfect - of course I have the dreaded roll of extra skin sitting there. I take them off and look closer at them - and they are a size 14!!!! They were the KMart Route 66 brand, and they actually had no other tags on them, but inside it said "relaxed fit size 14". So I'm thinking maybe any other size 14 that wasn't a "relaxed fit" probably wouldn't fit - but heck - I'll take this WOW to go anytime!!! Then I tried on a couple bathing suits. Now this is a first, I haven't purchased a bathing suit in years much less tried one on. I chose the one with the little skirt type bottom to cover my very saggy thighs. The size 14 fit real nice and the 16 was too big!! WOW But MAN do I look saggy in a bathing suit!!! I knew my arms were bad but didn't realize how bad until I was up close to a dressing room mirror in a bathing suit! So I didn't buy it. I'm not sure how I'd feel on the beach with so much sagging skin. I mean in a bathing suit there's no hiding anything LOL!!! I think I will go back before the sale ends on Saturday and try it on again - and take the other daughter along for another opinion. I do want to go to the beach this year and in a way, I don't care if I look saggy, it's better than weighing over 300 lbs on the beach. I'll keep you guys posted!!! Much love from Miami, where I drove home through golf ball size hail tonight! Carol

Gina - not tight 14's - I haven't been able to say that since middle school!!!! That is great. The rest is frustruating but needed! My wow is I am ounces away from loosing 100 pounds. I am amazed. The other wow is I was in Walmart and thought I'd look at night shirts and I looked at an XL thinking I'd fit into it soon. I did I fit into it now. Great idea for a post. (with water) Ann

My WOW was last Wednesday. My niece had Gastric Bypass. I was sitting in the waiting room and my family all came in. They were back with Sarah, I got there too late. Well my niece who I am close with but haven't seen since Christmas saw me and put her head in my shoulder and sobbed, cried so hard. I tried to calm her down telling her, her sister would be fine and not to worry. She squeezed tighter and finally was able to speak. She said she was crying at how beautiful I was. She knew I lost over 100lbs but she had no idea what a 100lbs looked like. Really nice moment. And Sarah is doing good thank God. The pressure is terrible when you inspire people. Jane 296/183/170 goal size 28 now in 16's and 2 pair of size 14's. YEA I wore a size 14 I swear in 6th grade. NO lie.

Congrats everyone! I just love hearing everyone's beautiful stories! I had to add an extra WOW that I got today! I put on a size 14 dress pants & not only were they loose, but they fit over my knee brace without any trouble & that sucker is pretty big!! I forgot to add that at the ER, the aide was kinda sizing me up. I jokingly said to him, hey, are you trying to look up my skirt? He said no, I'm trying to determine what size brace you will need & you're pretty small, so I think a medium will do!! Well, I told him he was getting a hug, whether he wanted it or not. He asked why & I explained the wls. I did end up with a medium brace, which totally made my day!! Also my 20 year old daughter came over tonight to borrow something "cute" for a job interview! WooHoo, cute & her size! What a deal!!!! Yall keep sharing! I love seeing the positives!!! Hugz yall! Gina L "Livin' large doesn't mean obese anymore!"
