Ba humbug...ba humbug
I am really getting mad...the last two months I have lost 3 pounds each month....slow but sure...this month I am going up and down with a pound or two...no loss...why? I am really not liking the numbers...I am doing nothing different...drinking the water, eating the protein...doing the excercise...why? oh WHY...this might be the first month that there is no loss whatsoever...feedback , ... It does get harder to lose the further out we are from surgery and the less we have to lose. I second Marcia's suggestion about trying to change things up and see if that helps. Perhaps changing the combinations of foods that you eat - adding more dairy, using different kinds of proteins - or changing the time of day you eat or when you eat in relation to when you exercise. Change the type of exercise that you're doing - add some weight lifting or intensify your weight-lifting efforts, try a different kind of cardio, try a mix of cardio (15-20 minutes of 2-3 different activities in a row, so you working out for 45-60 minutes, but using different muscle groups). If you've body has settled into a routine, perhaps changing things up will get your weight loss moving again!
Good luck finding something that works for you!

IF YOU FIND THE ANSWER LET ME IN ON IT. I have been going up and down the same 5-6 lb and have not lost anything in several weeks. I talked with my nut and she told me to go back on my preop diet for a few days and up my protien by 30.
More protien!!! I was already at 100-120.
Pre op diet consists of 4-5 protien shakes
Lunch and dinner : 2 oz lean meat and 1/2 cup steamed veg or small salid
Good luck.

Dennis - I can only support what the others have said - change it up. Vary your diet and your exercise. The only thing I wouldn't mess with is the vitamens and water. I can't remember where I read it (I wish I could so you could read it yourself) but this articles recommendation in terms of a stall was to change it all around. I don't want to get shot for saying this but don't exercise 1 day; change meal times and contents; change your protein amount - up it. I am not sure but please hang in there and know that I am pulling for you. I miss your posts. Ann
Hi Dennis
I'm right there with you. I'm the slowest loser in the group. My whole life is consumed by my weight and the scale. I was stuck for along time at 195. So I had to go off food and back on full liquids in order to get the scale moving. I believe this is going to be a life long battle for me. Good luck and you are not alone in this weight loss battle.
