Make sure you are getting enough B-12. Shortage of B-12 can cause some kind of nerve problem and it is irreversible. Don't want you to panic because I'm not a doc and it could be something entirely different, but it is very important to get enough B-12.

HELLO. I HAD THAT SAME PROBLEM AND MY DOCTOR SAID THAT I HAD TO TAKE MY B-12 ****EP FORGETTING TO TAKE IT). THIS WILL HELP THE CIRCULATION AND FROM EXPERIENCE IT DOES HELP. SO IF YOU ARE NOT TAKING THE B-12, I SUGGEST THAT YOU TALK TO YOUR DOCTOR, BECAUSE IT MIGHT BE THAT.

Jennie you are doing so good and thanks for calling the roll call.
Well I am still losing and I havn't gone up on the scale as yet although I am expecting it anytime so I won't freak out when I do. I have lost 10 pounds this month and I have 12 more pounds to go for my doctors goal and 10 pounds for my personal goal. I am in a size 10 now after losing 110 pounds in 9 months. I am exercising an hour every other day (40 minutes cardio and 20 free weights)and I am active everyday enjoying the great summer. Janice

Debbie!
Make sure you contact your wls doctor and advise him of the medications. There is a list of meds you can never take, they can damage or cause ulcers in your new stomach (pouch) or worse. Check with his office first before you take them. I am 8 mts out and have never heard of such diagnosis, you might want to get a second opinion. I do get numbiness in my hands and toes but it is caused by fibromalygia with other serious painful symptoms. Make sure this medicine will not cause any harm to your new pouch. Hope this helps!

Topic: RE: Gallbladder Surgery Complication - Long VENT
Hi! Kristen,
You should write a letter to the board of directors at the hospital and make a formal complaint against this doctor. Probably won't do any good; however, it might make you feel better, who knows. Jerks like that are a dime a dozen, but one day he'll get knocked back down to his size. God does have a sense of humor and those who are jerks will pay later on. Sorry for all the problems you've been through but the good news for you is its all up hill now and hopefully your battle has been won. Stay focus, positive and don't let people like him get to you, missery loves company and you're no part of it. Take care, in my prayers for a speedy recovery and successful WLS Journey.

Hey there! Today happens to be my 30th birthday! Hope everyone is having a great holiday! My surgery was 10/25/04 so I am a little over 8 months out. I am down 121 lbs. and am down to 171 from 292. I am working hard for every lb. lost, but I will continue to take whatever comes. I have about 24lbs left until goal! Good luck to everyone no matter where you may be at on your wls journey!
Topic: JULY ROLL CALL
I hope it is ok for me to start this but since it is the 4th (Happy Independence Day!) and hasn't been started yet I thought I would.
I am down a total of 123lbs but have slowed down drastically. My eating has gotten out of hand so I am back on track this month. I have been doing lots of biking and walking this month and feel better with this. Hope everyone is doing well!
